Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the blood pressure monitor?

To use the blood pressure monitor, wrap the cuff around your upper arm, ensuring it's snug but not too tight. Sit in a comfortable position with your arm resting on a flat surface and your palm facing up. Press the start button on the monitor to begin inflation. Remain still and avoid talking during the measurement. The monitor will display your blood pressure readings on the screen.

How often should I measure my blood pressure?*

It's recommended to measure your blood pressure regularly, especially if you have hypertension or other cardiovascular conditions. Consult with your healthcare provider to determine the frequency of monitoring that's appropriate for your individual health needs.

Can I use the blood pressure monitor on different arms?

For accurate results, it's best to consistently use the blood pressure monitor on the same arm each time you measure. If you need to switch arms, wait at least 5 minutes before taking another measurement to allow the blood flow to stabilise.

What should I do if I get an error message during measurement?

If you receive an error message on the blood pressure monitor, ensure that the cuff is positioned correctly and that there are no kinks or twists in the tubing. Check the battery level and ensure that the monitor is properly calibrated. If the error persists, refer to the user manual for troubleshooting tips or contact customer support for assistance.

How do I maintain and clean the blood pressure monitor?

To maintain the accuracy and longevity of your blood pressure monitor, wipe the cuff and monitor with a soft, damp cloth after each use. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the device. Store the monitor in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for battery replacement and calibration, if necessary.

Can the blood pressure monitor be used by multiple users?

Many blood pressure monitors have features that allow multiple users to store their readings separately. Check the user manual or settings menu to see if your monitor offers this functionality. If so, follow the instructions for setting up individual user profiles to track and store readings accurately.
